Late Entries
taken for Sweepstakes and 4D-$10 late charge.  No post entries taken for Futurity, or Derby. 4-D entries shall close at 9 am Saturday and Sunday, April 8 & 9; CASH ONLY!
Stall reservations:
on mail-in entries. No overnight tying.  Stalls $18/night or $15 per night for  multiple nights straw included. RV Hook-ups: $15/night
 
Arena open (no barrels) Friday, Sat., Sun. (
6-7 a.m.).  Arena closed at all other times for event prep.  Covered warm-up area available at all times.

Events run in order shown to the left. Dress code for entire weekend. Races start at 8:00 a.m. Saturday & Sunday. 4-D to start no sooner than 10 a.m. on Sat. and 12 noon on Sunday.

 Horses can only run one time in each race  except 10 & Under.

Concessions on grounds Friday, Saturday & Sunday.


1 Time-Onlys:  Friday, April  7th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

2 Cowgirl Auction, Friday, April 7th,
5:00 pm held in fairgrounds community building: Futurity, Maturity & Sweepstakes. Horses need not be present. 

3 Sweepstakes on Friday only (after Cowgirl Auction), one run. Saddle to winner, presented following the Sweepstakes race at the photographer’s booth. . For any horse regardless of age or amount of money won. Run as many horses as you wish.

4 Futurity & Maturity:  Call Darleen Dozier (509)337-2137 or e-mail dozierp@wwics.com or send to 262 Connover Rd., Waitsburg, WA 99361. No cross entries between Futurity & Maturity.   Futurity:  Can't have competed prior to Dec. 1, 2005. Maturity:  5-7 year olds.   Futurity & Maturity pays two gos & average. Amateur in Futurity only!  Stallion Incentive eligible horses enter thru Kay Weeks, 509-522-1929Cannot carryover time to 4-D.

5 Rider cannot have won more than $1000 in barrel futurities upon entering

6 Riders Age: 10 years of age or less as of January 1, 2006, and have not competed in any other class that race.

7 Triple Points Show all weekend

Youth 15 and younger as of date of first youth competition.
9 45 and over as of first senior competition.
10 4D Novice:  The Novice Horse or Rider can enter a Novice race as long as the horse or rider has less than $500 lifetime race earnings at the time of entry.
11 Open only to VGBRA members running for points.
