Captains Prospector is by my outstanding Captain Biankus, an outstanding barrel horse, winning & placing in barrel futurities, derbies, the Columbia River Circuit, the DNCFR and qualifying for the NFR two consecutive years. Captain Biankus has consistently sired winning colts in futurities, derbies and Rodeos as well as the Stallion Incentives at Barrel Daze.  Captains Prospector, "Manly", ran in futurities in 2008.  He placed in rounds at the Sand Cup and WBRA futurity.  He ran at Barrel Daze in 2008 and placed in the average after getting a late start in his spring training.  In mid-summer 2008 he started running at jackpots and began placing in the 1D on many occasions, running a 17.5 and 17.6 in June.  At the horse sale race at the TRAC in Pasco he was within a 10th of a second from first place.  In the BRN4D futurity finals in Oregon City he placed 4th.  He also competed in the Columbia River Circuit Finals, this was his first rodeo and he handled it well.
