Barred is a 1/2 brother to Katie McCoin Garthwait's NFR gelding Lassie Bardell and to Ned's calf roping horse which is well known in the PRCA as one of the nicest calf roping horses in the Columbia River Circuit. He has been used on the ranch and has a very winning attitude and is gentle enough for kids and grandparents to ride him. He has speed, cow and brains-topped with an average 90% roan or grey offspring. One of his champion offspring, Hancock Mucho Della, was the champion breakaway horse for OHSRA in 2008, Reserve Champion in breakaway in OHSRA for 2007, also 5^th in the nation for breakaway in 2007 as well as 10^th in breakaway in 2008 at the NHSRF.
