Britt Thank You

The Britt Family would like to thank everyone for the beautiful paintings that were presented to us at the calcutta on Friday nite.  There are no words to express how we feel and how lucky we are to have the wonderful friends that we have made over the years in our rodeo family and Barrel Racing families.  We were devastated by the loss of our life time of rodeo awards and pictures that were destroyed in the fire.  Never in our minds could we get them back.  What a wonderful surprise and we will be forever grateful.  Shirley Dickerson is such an outstanding artist and we love her paintings.  Thank you so much Shirley!!!!

To everyone involved Charmaine Beck and family,  Bob and Kay Weeks, Shirley Dickerson,  Tim Corfield and TLC Events, Larry and Julie Williams, Buck and Bobo McMillan, we love you all and again thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!!! Sid and Randy Rae Britt and family!!!!

THE BIDDING IS OVER!!  OUR 16th ANNUAL STALLION SERVICE AUCTION THAT WAS HELD ON-LINE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS. If you missed out, you may still get a good deal on a breeding that didn't sell during the auction.  For information on how you can purchase a breeding, please contact Bob or Kay Weeks at 509-522-1929 or email  luckyw@bmi.net or Norma Kelly at 509-525-6177 or email froghollow@columbiainet.com.

Be sure to look at and acknowledge the REFERENCE SIRES as well. The owners may have some colts for sale by their stallions that will be eligible for the special Incentive Purses just like those in the auction!!

The Valley Girls' Stallion Incentive Program is the longest running barrel incentive program in the US. Started in 1992, we have continued to increase our added money each year while promoting stallions and their offspring.  As of February 2, 2008, the minimum amount  raised from our stallion service auction is over $53,000. This money will be divided among purses for the riders, owners and open futurity. With the open futurity purse at $15,000, those contestants in the 2008 Barrel Daze Futurity that are riding Incentive colts can be running for added purse money of over $30,000.

A BIG Thanks to all the stallion owners who have made this program successful for the past 16 years!

Irving's Leather has recently moved to Waitsburg from Walla Walla. Rosie Gallaher had them put her VGBRA back cinch buckles on for her. She is offering to deliver any back cinch buckles to them if Valley members wish to have buckles put on a cinch they have or have Irving's Leather make a new one and put buckles on.
If you are interested call Rosie at 509.337.6366 and she can help you.
